RF Planning Using Channel Whitelisting

Are you using the BWI AN-80i? If so, we have a tip for you.

Using a whitelist can provide faster connection times and avoid frequency bands of known interference. Each AN-80i may be programmed with up to 32 separate frequency ranges to use during the autoscan cycle.

1. Telnet to the AN-80i and login.
2. Show all ranges: freq print
3. Add a range: freq add begin end (MHz)
4. Save the new configuration: save config

This feature is supported for both PTP and PMP modes of operation.

For more information about using a whitelist email Jennifer at jgreene@pexx.net.
